Jo-Ann Leamon
Founder/Manager

Jo-Ann is the Founder and Manager of Beyond Beautiful Aesthetics, Ltd. In keeping with our philosophy of investing in oneself, Jo-Ann received her professional training in Microbiology, completing undergraduate and graduate degree studies in Health Services Administration. Jo-Ann has been in the health care sector for 45 years, with 30 of those years in administration posts. Her work in Microbiology has afforded her the unique view of changing techniques and technologies, allowing her to see the necessity to combine spa, laser technologies and medical procedures, giving our clientele exemplary service and the ultimate spa experience.

MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Aloysius G. Smith, M.D., is the Medical Director of Beyond Beautiful Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery Associates of New York. His career as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon spans over 20 years and today he is the director of plastic surgery at three major teaching hospitals in New York City and Westchester. He has also been named one of “New York’s Best” plastic surgeons by the prestigious Castle-Connolly survey and New York magazine.

Board-certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Smith is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery. After completing his medical degree at the University of the West Indies, he served an internship at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Barbados. He then completed fellowships in general surgery and hand surgery at New York Medical College/Metropolitan Hospital Center in New York. He received his fellowship in plastic surgery at the world-renowned Mayo Graduate School of Medicine/ Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota.

In addition to his private practice, Dr. Smith is a member of the faculty of New York Medical College, where he serves as Assistant Professor of Surgery. At Lincoln Hospital, he also serves as Director of Hand & Plastic Surgery and Director of the Sylvester J. Carter Hand Fellowship Training Program. In his teaching capacity, Dr. Smith is responsible for training the next generation of plastic surgeons in the latest surgical knowledge and techniques. He is also Director of Plastic Surgery at St. Barnabas Hospital and Medical Center in The Bronx, and St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Westchester.

Samantha Danesi RPA-C, LMT is a certified Physician Assistant with more than three years experience in Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery.  Samantha earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Touro College of Health Sciences in New York while completing her training in Physician Assistant studies with an interest in Plastic Surgery.  Her Plastic Surgery training was based at Lenox Hill Hospital and Manhattan Eye Ear and Throat Hospital in New York City.

She has had the pleasure of training under numerous plastic surgeons in New York City thus gaining experience and enhancing her proficiency in the art of cosmetic injectables while becoming fully acquainted in the operating room as a surgical assistant.  Samantha provides complimentary cosmetic injectables’ consultations and provides detailed information regarding each product and what is best suited for each patient.  Most importantly, she believes in creating a natural overall result.

 

Anna Leybovich
Licensed Esthetician

Anna Leybovich is a Registered Nurse and a Licensed Esthetician with extensive experience in therapeutic skin care. Sine the nineties, Anna was a advocate and promoter of the modern European Skin Care in the United States. Her career was launched at the Klinger Salon and Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salon in New York City. Anna is an expert in complexion analysis and causal diagnostics, and successfully developed a highly customizable effective approach that directly addresses each client's personal needs and aspirations. Her goal is to bring her Clients the most desirable results while providing care that consistently exceeds their expectations.

         

Anna's expertise includes: facials, microdermabrasion, IPL skin rejuvenation, acne treatments, skin tightening and administration of cosmetic injectables. All of which add to the wide range of services offered by Beyond Beautiful Aesthetics.

 

Maria Gil
Esthetician & Massage Therapist

Maria Gil is a Licensed Esthetician, Massage Therapist and Cosmetologist. Maria obtained her extensive experience in Columbia, South America and was the private owner of Clinical Senses Medellin Columbia for many years. Maria specializes in Facials to suit individual needs, Glycolic Peels, Microdermabrasion and Neck Collagen Treatment. To further enhance her delivery of varied services, Maria specializes in The Guam Cellulite Reduction Massage, Lymphatic Drainage Massage for Post -Surgical Care, Deep Tissue/Sports Massage and Swedish Massage. Maria's goal is to deliver the best service to her Clients for them to receive ultimate satisfaction.

 

Audra Baker
Esthetician

Audra Baker is a Licensed Esthetician and Medical Assistant. Audra's training is composed of fifteen (15) years as a Medical Assistant in the areas of Dermatology and Plastic Surgery and ten (10) years as an Esthetician with emphasis on Aesthetic Services and Laser Technology. She has mastered the analysis of all skin types and the application of the Vii Chemical as needed. Audra's primary motivation is to serve her Clients the best applications and products to produce outstanding results regardless of the specific needs and requirements.
