Wrinkle Relaxer

Neurotoxins such as Botox and Dysport are a highly effective, non-surgical option for relaxing facial muscles and reducing the appearance of dynamic wrinkles. By blocking nerve signals to specific muscles, neurotoxins smooth the skin and provide a more youthful appearance. The effects last for several months, and with regular maintenance treatments, patients can enjoy long-term wrinkle reduction.

Maintenance

To maintain results, most patients undergo treatment every 3 to 4 months. Over time, some individuals may find that they can extend the period between treatments to 4 to 6 months as the muscles become conditioned to the neurotoxin.

Post-Care Instructions

  1. Avoid Touching: Do not rub or massage the treated area for at least 24 hours to prevent the neurotoxin from spreading to unintended areas.
  2. Stay Upright: Remain upright for 4 hours post-treatment to reduce the risk of the neurotoxin migrating.
  3. Avoid Strenuous Activity: Refrain from vigorous exercise for 24 hours to minimize bruising.
  4. No Heat Exposure: Avoid saunas, hot tubs, or other sources of heat for 24-48 hours.
  5. Skincare Products: Use gentle products and avoid harsh treatments around the mouth for a few days.
  6. Follow-Up: Schedule a follow-up appointment to assess results and plan future treatments.

Brow Lift

Neurotoxins, such as botulinum toxin (commonly known by brand names like Botox, Dysport, Xeomin and Jeuveau), can be used to create a brow lift by selectively relaxing certain muscles in the forehead and brow area. This procedure is often referred to as a "chemical brow lift".

Facial Slimming

Neurotoxins can create a slimmer appearance by selectively targeting and relaxing specific facial muscles, often referred to as "jawline slimming" or "masseter reduction".

  • Muscle Overactivity: Masseter muscles overactivity can make the lower face appear wider.
  • Facial Slimming: Relaxing these muscles gradually reduces lower face size for a sculpted appearance.

Gummy Smile

Neurotoxins can reduce the appearance of a "gummy smile" by targeting the levator labii superioris alaeque nasi (LLSAN), reducing excessive gum exposure for a more balanced smile.

TMJ / Teeth Clenching

Neurotoxins target muscles responsible for TMJ disorder and bruxism, such as the masseter and temporalis, reducing jaw pain, tension, and clenching.

Neck Bands

Neck bands (platysma bands) are vertical cords caused by platysma muscle contraction. Neurotoxins relax the muscle, softening the bands for a smoother neck appearance.

  • Muscle Relaxation: Neuromodulators relax the platysma.
  • Softening of Bands: Tension is reduced, diminishing vertical lines.
  • Improved Smoothness: Skin appears less pulled, more youthful.

Axillary Hyperhidrosis

Neurotoxins reduce excessive armpit sweating by blocking acetylcholine at nerve endings, decreasing sweat gland stimulation.

  • Mechanism: Blocks acetylcholine to reduce sweat production.
  • Application: Injected into armpits in a grid pattern.
  • Duration: Effects last several months, repeat as needed.
  • Efficacy: Many report significant improvement.

Cobblestone Chin

Neuromodulators smooth a "cobblestone chin" by relaxing the mentalis muscle, improving projection and overall chin appearance.

Smoker's Lines

Vertical lip lines are softened by neurotoxins, which temporarily weaken muscles causing these wrinkles.

Upper Trapezius "Traptox"

Neurotoxins relax upper trapezius muscles for pain relief, improved posture, cosmetic slimming, and increased range of motion.

  • Mechanism: Blocks acetylcholine, reducing muscle activity.
  • Benefits: Pain relief, posture improvement, cosmetic enhancement, headache relief.
  • Maintenance: Effects last 3-6 months; follow-ups recommended.
